Matthew Bergstrom Named Chief Operating Officer of Omni-Threat Structures

Miami, Florida – June 12, 2019  -- Matthew Bergstrom has been named Chief Operating Officer of Omni-Threat Structures (OTS). The announcement marks a promotion for Matt, who has been with the company since its inception. He formerly held the position of VP of Engineering.

Since joining the team in 2013, Matt has made key contributions to the development of the innovative line of business for multi-threat protection structures. He was instrumental in the successful launch of OTS, with his initiatives transforming an electromagnetic shielding system research program into constructible commercial facilities. As COO, Matt will provide the leadership to expand OTS successes in the power utilities into the expanding market of securing the country’s critical infrastructure.

Matthew Bergstrom has more than 20 years of project management experience in the utility sector including process mapping, workflow management, estimating, engineering, procurement, and construction. He also has extensive experience developing and executing fossil and nuclear fleet Capital and O&M Projects. Matthew’s prior positions included Supervisor of Construction and PM Group at the Columbia Generating Station, WA, Project Engineering Manager for the URS Corp Operating Site Support Group, Supervising Discipline Engineer for URS Corp Structural Department (both in Fort Mill, SC) and Senior Project Manager for Exelon.

Matthew holds a B.S., Civil and Structural Engineering from Marquette University and has done postgraduate work at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
