Davidson Scott is an experienced High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse designer and electromagnetics engineering professional and program manager with over 25 years of experience. He has served as the EMF Engineer of record on dozens of public and private sector nanotechnology laboratory projects, semi-conductor / industrial facilities, medical research and commercial buildings throughout the U.S. and abroad. Davidson provides unique perspective and experience to projects achieving high-performance, low EMI environments, assuring that current and next-generation research, diagnostic, and fabrication tools can be integrated into new and existing facilities. Davidson is experienced in the assessment and remediation of electromagnetic interference (EMI) from a wide-spectrum of sources; Geomagnetic/DC, Power Infrastructure, and Radio Frequency. He is adept in finding unique solutions to EMI problems in urban and dense footprint facilities, as well as solutions for niche areas such as implanted medical devices, and electromagnetic pulse (EMP) mitigation. Davidson wrote the EMP E-1 section of the E-threat protection guide (E-pro manual)
Davidson holds a BSEE from Virginia Military Institute and a MS Systems Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). He is a licensed PE in California, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, New York, Massachusetts and Illinois.
